HOW DOES DERMATIX® ULTRA KIDS LIGHTEN, SOFTEN AND FLATTEN2,3,4 SCARS ON CHILDREN?
Dermatix® Ultra Kids contains an innovative silicone gel technology called cyclopentasiloxane (CPX). CPX improves wash off resistance and makes Dermatix® Ultra Kids easy to apply and quick to dry – reducing the risk of accidental ingestion among young children1.
The formula’s other key ingredient, Vitamin C ester, is more quickly and easily absorbed into the skin than other types of Vitamin C – further enhancing Dermatix® Ultra Kids effectiveness in lightening5, flattening and softening children’s scars.
WHY PARENTS CHOOSE
DERMATIX® ULTRA KIDS
When comparing Dermatix® Ultra Kids and other brands they have used before, mums gave Dermatix® Ultra Kids a 91% satisfaction rating and selected it as their preferred brand of scar treatment6.
These are a few reasons why:
Suitable and gentle on delicate skin, ideal for children aged 3 months and up1.
Proven effective in lightening, softening and flattening fresh scars2,3,4
Dermatix® Ultra Kids works best on fresh scars that are less than 2 years old. For best results, apply as soon as the wound has healed. This will allow its active ingredients – CPX and Vitamin C ester – to start working on the scar, as soon as possible.
This is how it works. CPX acts as a protective barrier to prevent transepidermal water loss, which brings the overproduction of collagen back into balance – preventing further formation of the scar. Meanwhile, Vitamin C ester is absorbed into the skin, which lightens the scar.
Its quick-drying formulation doesn’t stain clothes, allows you to apply moisturiser or sunblock soon after application, and reduces the risk of ingestion among young children1 and infants.
